DJ + DESIGNER

DJ Jimsoundz (SOUNDZ), was born and raised in Brooklyn, and has been DJing since 1989. Music has always been a big part of his life and he has stayed true to it from day one.

Jim is an open-format DJ with a strong love for that old school, quick mix, party rockin’ vibe. He focuses on Freestyle, Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, and 80s classics, keeping it smooth, energetic, and always moving.
Over the years, He has had the opportunity to DJ on platforms like Freestyle Music Radio, Freestyle 4 Ever Radio, Bounce 99, Power 787 Radio, and Hitz103. Jim also had the chance to appear as a guest DJ on Hot 97 back in 1993, which was a big moment for him coming up.

Outside of radio, he has built a strong presence through Twitch and Facebook streaming, along with a large freestyle community online. Jim also a co-creator and curator of the Freestyle 4 Life Raid Train, bringing together DJs from all over the world. He’s had the honor of rocking alongside Chubby Chub, Alpha Music, KG, DJ Stress, Icey Ice, and DJ Scene, just to name a few.

Now Jim is proud to be rocking with BKSPN alongside family and friends where they all share the same passion for real music and real DJing.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the love of the music and bringing good vibes to the people.
